Eagle Circuit Races - Senior Podium Results

16 April - Over 120 riders participated in Saturday's Eagle RC crits held at the Redbridge Cycling Centre.  Podium placers for each race are featured below, and full results can be seen on the LONDONCycleSport website Road Race results section at www.londoncyclesport.com.

Eagle Spring Criteriums

The Eagle Road Club promotes it’s Spring Criteriums at the Redbridge Cycling Circuit this Saturday the 16th of April.  The elite event has previously been won by such notable riders as David Clarke with a typically aggressive performance., and high further quality racing is expected this year.

All categories of racers will be catered for, in particular a 4th cat only event, and a Masters race in addition to the tried and trusted format of youth, Regional C and Regional B races.

Entries will be taken on the line for all races.

Spring 25 Result

A lovely Spring morning greeted us and the riders produced the goods. John Skinner was out early putting out the warning signs and Sean turned up with a bad back but offered to marshal instead of riding. Phil Jolly marshaled the turn and Sean at Stump X. Phil showed that fatherhood is not slowing him down Dave that his new bike and position are working and one or two personal bests were done. The Handicaps worked out quite well and everyone seemed pleased with their times except possibly Artour and Joe who did a personalised course.   A very good morning of sport.

Hot X Bun Randonnee - Easter Mon 25th April

This has been a tradition over the past 15 or so years for the Eagle.

The route starts at the clubhouse, goes up past Newmarket to Kentford, down to the Grant's house at Shudy Camps for lunch and then back to the clubhouse. Distance is 100K or so and there is an option for 150K. It's generally the same route as the randonnee earlier this year.

If you are a guest rider you would be most welcome to come along - if you would like some lunch though, please let us know by contacting me on secretary@eaglerc.org  Start is at 9:00 am at our clubhut at Ugley, post code CM22 6HZ.

Spring 25 - Sunday 10th April

This sunday we are running our Spring 25 mile time trial on the E1D course up by our clubhouse in Ugley. If you would like to enter could you please let Peter Smith know at least 2 days in advance so he can work out the handicaps and order of start.

This is a "Come and Try"event so if you are a guest rider you would be most welcome to come along (on the day and no need to enter) and have a go at a time trial.

Start is at 9:00 am and most people will be turning up at around 8:00 am. The event HQ is our clubhut at Ugley, post code CM22 6HZ.
