Glenn Grant's Charity Ride

Dear all

Next June I’ll be riding a charity cycle ride from Marble Arch London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

I’m hoping for sponsorship, which will go to James Whale’s fund for Kidney Cancer. Whatever you might think of him as a broadcaster, he suffered kidney cancer, nearly died and now uses his position to help other sufferers. Around 10 people die each day from this disease and of course many others have their health affected.

Nikki helps the Charity with both paid and voluntary work (long story and you can ask her at a Club event why) and of course she’s roped me into riding this event.

It won’t be a highly organised affair – we’re hoping for around 20 riders and Nik will be driving the support van. That way we keep costs down and more money raised goes where it’s needed.

I’ve set up a sponsorship page, so if you feel you can donate please go to it – I’ll need all the encouragement I can get!

If you want to ride, then let me know. So far the confirmed riders are from all backgrounds/abilities, included some who have survived the disease.
