Clubhouse Working Day

I know we had several DIY days last year up at our clubhouse, but there are a couple of jobs that need doing before the worst of the winter sets in. Sun Dec 13th has been suggested as a good date so lets go for that.

jobs that need doing, from the top of my head

1. Some of the bricks at the back of the clubhouse need replacing

2. The windows need re-puttying. One or two have been done, but there are a quite a few more that are in a bad state

3. The carpet join in the main room needs some strong glue

4. The yellow wall needs a good clean and probably a nice new coat of paint

5. Need to re-hang the bedroom door

6. A little bit of gardening

If we get some idea of numbers jacket potatoes can be provided for lunch, and of course I am sure we will get a bonfire going. It will be a nice Winters day, so what do you say?
