There are lot's of cycling events going on at the moment that I thought I should draw to your attention. I have concentrated on events that are appropriate for most people and beginners especially. You can find more details under the "whats on section" of this web site - click on the events in the diary to see more details.
- Our Club 10 mile time trials are continuing, but we are down to our last 2 events, both on the Lambourne End course. These are great events to get started in, and you can just turn up and ride
- Thursday evenings there is circuit racing at Hog Hill. This has started already and runs throughout the summer months. There is a vets race starting at 6:00 pm, followed by senior, 3rd cat and ladies races. Again these are great for beginnners as there is no traffic to worry about, and you can always find a group to work with if you get dropped. You'll need a license, but other than that you can enter on the line
- Our Wilher 50 is on 2nd August. Need to enter 2 week before. This is also the date for our open day at the clubhouse.
- The following day, 3rd August, we have booked Hog Hill for the evening to run our very own omnium events
