Dave Farrow is dominating the vets racing at Hog Hill this year. He is leading the Thursday night series by a country mile, won last Sunday in a lone break, won last night from a break of two, and is not too sluggish in a bunch sprint as the picture below shows.
Vets racing is open to riders over 40 years of age, and is the ideal format for anyone trying to get back into racing from a layoff. You can start with the over 60's, then as you progress join the over 50's then when you are fully into the swing of thiings race with you own age group. The racing is a very good standard, good vets in our own region are easily 2nd cat standard. Riders taking part tend to be experienced road racers so the racing is very safe and it is relatively cheap as well - half the price of a BC event. To find out more visit the LVRC page.
